Speed Switch Sensor & System Testing Device

The SpeedMaster™ with Pulse Pilot provides independent, real time, and complete verification of your entire speed monitoring system to ensure that alarms and shutdowns are working as expected.

The SpeedMaster operates in two modes. Input mode is used to measure the pulse rate at normal speed. Output mode will allow the user to input pulses to the sensor for testing purposes. The Pulse Pilot fits in the gap between the 4B speed sensor and the cover of the Whirligig® (see video for details). The Pulse Pilot will have no effect on the operation of the speed switch until it is connected to the SpeedMaster and set to output mode.

			Whirligig® - Shaft Sensor Mount The Whirligig is a fully guarded target for easy mounting of motion sensors. It is a universal shaft sensor mount suitable for all industry standard cylindrical or DIN style inductive sensors. The Whirligig is available with 1, 2, 4 or 8 pulse targets, and attaches to the machines shaft by a 1/2 in. tapped hole or magnetically using the Mag-Con™ adapter. See Whirligig

	Do I need to remove anything from my Whirligig / Speed Switch assembly in order to use the SpeedMaster?
	No, one of the features of the SpeedMaster is that you can test the 4B Speed Switch without changing the installation or
	wiring of the sensor.
