P300 Proxswitch - 30 mm

The P300 Proxswitch is an 30 mm inductive proximity sensor designed to detect shaft speed, shaft position, gate position, or object presence.

The P300 Proxswitch is a limit switch style proximity sensor, which works on the damped oscillator principle. No contact is made between the sensor and the object being monitored. The P300 will detect a ferrous object at a maximum distance of 11/32” (9 mm).

Two different sensor outputs are available. One with a normally closed output, and the other with a normally open output. Both units are fully encapsulated, have 6 foot cable leads and include LED’s to indicate target detection.

			Whirligig® - Shaft Sensor Mount The Whirligig is a fully guarded target for easy mounting of motion sensors. It is a universal shaft sensor mount suitable for all industry standard cylindrical or DIN style inductive sensors. The Whirligig is available with 1, 2, 4 or 8 pulse targets, and attaches to the machines shaft by a 1/2 in. tapped hole or magnetically using the Mag-Con™ adapter. See Whirligig










			Conduit Adapter The A34NPT conduit adapter is used to connect the metric threaded body of the sensor to 3/4 inch NPT conduit.

	Can the P300 be wired directly to a motor starting coil?
	No, due to the 100 mA maximum current capacity the P300 should not be wired to the motor's starting coil.
