IE-Node Simple Remote Sensor Monitoring for PLC's & Automation Systems
The Industrial Ethernet Node (IE-NODE) is a remote monitoring interface designed to provide sensor data to PLC’s
or other automation and control systems.
Both units can be expanded to 16 sensor inputs with the installation of optional expansion boards.
The IE-NODE operates by reading its sensor inputs and sending processed data when requested by another system (e.g. PLC). The units are equipped with an RJ45 Ethernet socket and supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP protocols for easy integration with Siemens, Allen-Bradley Rockwell, Modicon and other PLC’s or automation devices.
The IE-NODE’s network configurator software provides a visual view of all devices on the network. It allows for easy identification of each unit on the network and allows for network settings to be changed as needed.
Features:
• Sensor Interface for PLC’s & Automation Systems
• Supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP protocols
• Up to 16 Total Sensor Inputs with Available Expansion Boards
• Configurator Software for Easy Network Set up And Visual Overview of All Devices

Milli-Speed Switch
The Milli-Speed switch sensor with 4-20 mA linear output signal is designed to detect belt slip, belt underspeed, stop motion, low speed or zero speed on bucket elevators, conveyors, air locks, mixers, fans, grinders and many other rotating machines. Totally sealed and simple to calibrate, the Milli-Speed works in the harshest of conditions.
The Whirligig is a fully guarded target for easy mounting of motion sensors like the P800 Proxswitch. The Whirligig is available with 1, 2, 4 or 8 pulse targets, and attaches to the machines shaft by a 1/2 in. tapped hole or magnetically using the
Mag-Con™ adapter.
The SpeedMaster™ with Pulse Pilot is the only device that accurately tests the calibration of a speed switch, and allows testing of the alarm and shutdown features of the sensor while installed on the machine shaft.
The Touchswitch™ is an electromechanical limit-switch with no
moving parts, which detects tracking and misalignment
problems on bucket elevators and conveyors. Unlike a rub block that utilizes friction (heat) to activate, the Touchswitch is pressure sensitive (contact) for safer and more reliable monitoring.
Brass rub blocks process temperature information. When the belt from a bucket elevator or conveyor rubs against the brass block, heat is created from the friction which is then relayed to a temperature sensor generating an alarm.
The ADB series have been designed to allow the depth of the sensor to be adjustable. They screw directly into a bearing housing through the
existing grease zerk thread. Each sensor is fitted with a grease
zerk to allow lubrication of the bearing without the need for removal of the sensor.
The Milli-Temp series can be used on any application where bearing temperature monitoring is needed. The Milli-Temp is a loop powered analog sensor with a 4-20 mA linear output that is scaled across a temperature range for continuous temperature monitoring.
The ADB Sensor Tester has been designed to test 4B adjustable depth bearing (ADB) temperature sensors in the field.
During planned maintenance or periodic testing, this diagnostic tool to verify the alarm and shutdown sequences of the control unit are functioning as expected.
The Binswitch Elite detects level or plug situations for bulk granular solids or liquids in tanks, bins, or silos and can be used as a plug or choke detector in chutes, conveyors and elevator legs.
